While Jarufe Dynamic Solutions is new in name, it represents over a decade of hands-on experience in A/V sales, production, and integration. Emilio holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Cleveland State University and Master's degrees in Music Education (Kent State University) and Music Technology specializing in Audio Engineering and Live Sound Reinforcement (Southern Utah University).
Built on the Stage, the Sanctuary, and the Classroom
Currently serving as the Director of Choral Activities for Avon Lake City Schools, Emilio Jarufe has over ten years of experience as a passionate music educator. At Avon Lake, Emilio directs four academic choral ensembles, two contemporary a cappella groups, and serves as the Department Chair of Fine Arts. Additionally, Emilio oversees the AV needs of the Dr. Daniel B. Ross Performing Arts Center, a beautiful 950-seat auditorium that hosts over 60 live events per calendar year.
This hands-on experience gives Emilio a unique perspective when working with schools and educational institutions. He understands the demands educators face — tight budgets, limited technical staff, and the pressure of live performance — and designs AV solutions that are practical, reliable, and easy for non-technical staff to operate. When you work with JDS, you're not just getting an AV vendor; you're getting a colleague who has stood where you stand.
Beyond the classroom, Emilio also serves as the Director of Music and Technology at the United Methodist Church of Macedonia, a role he has held for five years. There, he directs the church chorus, engineers live sound for the contemporary praise team, manages all AV repairs and maintenance, and oversees the church's live streaming operations.
This experience in the house of worship space gives Emilio a deep understanding of the unique challenges faith communities face when it comes to AV — volunteer teams, limited budgets, and the pressure of a Sunday morning that cannot be rescheduled. When you work with JDS, you're not just getting an AV vendor; you're getting someone who has run sound for the 9 AM service and knows exactly what's at stake.
While Jarufe Dynamic Solutions is new in name, it represents over a decade of hands-on experience in AV sales, production, and integration. His experience spans audio engineering for major corporate events, including Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Week, sound design for scholastic and theatrical productions, and technical direction for Camp A Cappella at Wright State University.
His installation expertise encompasses complex audio-video systems across diverse venues, custom solution design, and comprehensive user training. This range of real-world experience is what defines JDS and sets it apart — guided by one core principle: we operate and believe in every piece of equipment we sell, install, maintain, and teach others to use.
